Information For 5 Year Olds To Young Adults

If your child is 5 years or older and has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) the NYC Department of Education- Committee On Special Education (CSE) is the department responsible for delivering the services stated on your child's IEP. If you have any questions you should contact the District 31 CSE office or in some cases District 75. The Department of Education provides a variety of programs and services for children with special needs. These services and programs are offered in Elementary Schools, Junior High Schools and High Schools throughout Staten Island.
